SPA MONOPOLE

Spa Monopole, l’eau qui pétille, the “1936 Emaillerie Belge” version. Look how it is so different from all the other productions, older or younger. This one might probably have the freshest colors of all in both bottle, label ànd pierrot. The bright and fantastic shiny gloss nearly makes this sign to a mirror. Excellent quality enamel! 100% original and authentic and yet, nearly 90 years old. The Spa Pierrot is a Belgian classic and commonly regarded as a symbol of Belgian enamel advertising. The Pierrot was created in the 1920ies by the artist Jean D’Ylen. It was used in 1924 to launch the advertising campaign for Spa-Monopole products. The black version is probably one of the most sought-after signs in Europe.
