The Rossi Apéritif is one of the most attractive designs in tin. Showing a bottle of Rossi’s Apéritif resting on top of a big orange with a face licking its lips. It is made after a classic Italian advertising poster by Jean Droit (1884 – 1961) a French artist. His posters, and later his illustrations on all subjects, portraits and others, published by numerous magazines and in luxury books, are universally known and appreciated. The bright colours and huge size (100cm x 138cm!) of this tin plate make it a real eyecatcher.
