Roger Pérot

Roger Pérot (1908-1976) was an architect by profession before he began working on posters in 1926.
He has a special place among the poster artists of the Art Deco movement.
His posters are striking in their balance of form and colour. The composition is simplified to the extreme, the text becomes useless and sober, it attracts attention without aggression.
Besides the beautiful design for Marchal, which was also manufactured in enamel, Pérot created among others the famous poster for corsets: “Le Furet. Le rêve de la femme”.
