With the Pierrot for Spa, Jean d’Ylen created a timeless design that is still used on the bottles today. This beautiful Spa Depot sign is shaped like a water droplet and is a double-sided hanging sign. Various versions of Spa advertising signs exist — most of them rectangular, with a black or blue background. This droplet-shaped model is rather rare when in very good condition, with bright colors and glossy surface. This sign needs little further explanation, the enamel ‘DEPOT’ signs decorated the wholesale/distribution points of sale in Belgium from where the waters were being sold and distributed.
