HEINLEIN & Cia, Muebles Arañas Baños
Although we don’t consider this advertising sign for Heinlein & Cia an absolute masterpiece, it is such a rare find that it is justified to share it with you on this platform. As from around 1900 Heinlein was one of the biggest “interior” stores / importers of furniture in the very blooming and rich capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires. The importance of this brand for Buenos Aires is found in the richness of architecture that up to this day is cultural inheritance: the Heinlein Palace in Buenos Aires. The artist of this piece is unknown, but there are several poster designs by the hand of Mauzan for Heinlein.
