CHOCOLAT KLAUS, Caramel Mou à la Crème
Georgeous enamel sign for creamy Klaus chocolate, showing a young “armailli” (a Swiss shepherd of the Fribourg and Vaud Alps) eating a candy in front of the Eigger mountain in the Bernese Oberland. Very rare and in excellent condition. The Émaillerie Corgémont was founded in 1932 under the name Signum SA. Originally, the company manufactured road signs and license plates for cars.
Another stunning design for the brand Chocolat Klaus, Caramel Mou à la Crème was made by the Italian designer Giovanni Bonfatti in 1929 but also Carl Moos and the famous Leonetto Cappiello have designed for the Chocolat Klaus brand in the 1920’s.
